Recommended upgrades for MPC2000 classic

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums and far from being an MPC expert!

What upgrades would you recommend for a classic MPC2000? When I search, most of the results refer to the XL and it can be difficult to find clear information on what is possible with the classic MPC2000.

From what I understand the RAM can be upgraded to 32MB.

In the past I tried using an external SCSI but it was noisy and generally unwieldy. I've seen this thread (viewtopic.php?t=130248) about adding a Compact Flash card reader, and some threads about fitting a SCSI2SD. Which of these is recommended in people's experience?

Is there anything else I can do to upgrade this classic machine?

Whatever upgrades you see available for the XL will be the same for the 2000 for the most part.

SCSI2SD or Zulu SCSI will be totally fine. If you flip a coin on either, get the external one so you don't have to fuss with opening the unit and routing anything.
