in big trouble...need help with a sample...

hi guys...i recently got ALL my equipment stolen (roland xp-30 and mpc2000xl) and i just got another mpc2000xl.

i got a roland jp-8000, but there was a sound on the xp-30 that i desperately need.

i have a BIG show coming up and i NEED this sound.
it's called "applause".

it just sounded like a a big crowd applausing.

without this sound...i'm pretty assed out of a song :-(

if there's any way someone can give me like a 3 second (or however long u got) sample of this sound...i'd appreciate it SO much.

it's REALLY important.
please help a brotha out.

yo B, just flip through some of your own old vinyl and sample the crowd intro or outro off the record with live recording on it. Use auto chromatic or whatever that option is on the 2000xl to assign it to your keys or just loop it and send it to a pad. Know what I mean? I got a MPC 3k so I don't have that autochromatic option but you can still make it happen.

yeah...but i don't have the time for that right now...
plus the "applause" sound for the roland xp-series was exactly what sounded cool :-(

does anyone have an XP keyboard?

Wouldn't it be faster to grab a comedy record and sample it, than wait for someone to actually find this exact sound, convert it, upload it, and then wait for you to get the message, convert it back to a .WAV, and send it to your MPC?

no fear... download bear share... search the mp3 database for crowd - crowd noise - "APPLAUSE" --- you'll get some sound effects that you can .wav into your mpc ...
