Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi, I haven't used my MP2000XL for a long long time now and I want to reuse it for a project but I have a little question....Back in the days, I used to sample with the MPC, save the sample to Iomega ZIP disc via the internal ZIP reader, then open the sample on my PC via an external SCSI ZIP reader. Once the sample processed in sound forge or other he was sent back to the MPC via the same Zip Disc after being saved from the PC to the External ZIP reader.
Now I no longer work on PC but on a Mac book pro which of course has non SCSI port to connect an external SCSI ZIP Reader. My question is: "Will a sample saved on the MPC with the the internal ZIP can be read on a Mac with a USB Zip reader" and of course "Will a sample saved from a Mac to usb ZIP can be read by the MPC internal Zip reader)

I know I can install a Card reader but I also have the same doubt with my E-MU 5000 ultra and I already have an internal Zip for the MPC and both USB and SCSI external zip reader.

Thank you for your help if you have the answer.

Will a sample saved on the MPC with the the internal ZIP can be read on a Mac with a USB Zip reader : YES, it should
Will a sample saved from a Mac to usb ZIP can be read by the MPC internal Zip reader : YES, it should

The zip disk needs to be properly formated. A format that BOTH needs to be able to read and write.
For instance, FAT will be readable/writable on both devices (MPC, MAC), but keep in mind the usual 8.3 filename extension issue.

Format the zip from the mpc,

the best is actually to just ... give it try, you will be fixed quickly :-)

(I personally did throw away all zip stuff)
