Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I'm wanting to upgrade my 2000 from zip to SD and have been looking at the ZuluSCSI Card Reader from Boot Disk and Chill. It looks amazing. Does anyone have experience with this device? Is it superior to scsi2sd? Are you able to format additional SD cards to use after the initial card is at capacity? Is there another source or type of device I should consider before the zuluscsi?

As far as i know ZuluSCSI is successor of scsi2sd, i'd say go with the zuluscsi

Hey sorry this is a few months late :( . But I have the ZuluSCSI pico slim and it works like a charm. Although this version isn't the internal drive, it still reads sd cards and works properly with mine! I was advised though for this specific version to eventually upgrade to an internal drive as a "safety precaution", only because if you're tapping the pads too hard it could potentially eject the scsi drive (according to garth from sampler-zone). But I haven't had any issues with this at all and would recommend it if you're trying to go for the cheaper alternative.

Just make sure to buy the scsi adapter (mdb50 https://samplerzone.com/collections/scsi-accessories/products/scsi-adapter?variant=29222556500002) if you get it elsewhere from samplerzone as I did lol.

You can buy the whole kit with all needed adapters and preformatted sd card with OS file and stuff to replace it with your floppy drive at Wask Audio in Germany. You can also drop me a pm. Best would be to also excahnge the fuse to a resettable one for future proofing.
