Just got an MPC2000XL but the internal zip is DOA. No biggie, I wanted to swap for a CF or SD card reader anyways. But wait... the current OS is 1.14 and I need 1.2 to do that.
However, the MPC came with a CD-RW SCSI drive. I can't load the new OS via disk because it's dead, but can I do it via the CD-RW SCSI?
I've searched for hours and there's so little information on how to use a CD SCSI or I'm missing the right search terms. I can't even fully wrap my head around how to make a sample CD for it on a modern computer.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
