went to install new(used) lcd in 2000xl
was very proud of myself until I turned it on and screen was just white
checked all connections, turned on again- just white
ok, guess my buddy gave me a bad screen, no worries I’ll reinstall old screen for now
Reinstall- uh oh- now that’s white too..,
checked all connections , worried it might have to do with ribbon port, as I watched video that said I need to pull it up and then ribbon comes out, I struggled with that and it ultimately didn’t seem necessary to get the ribbon out. Nothing out of the ordinary happened or nor did it feel like anything broke, just only thing I can think of.
Big gig Monday, any help resolving would be a godsend
