Audio Mixdown..

I've just read an article about the audio mixdown feature in the MPC 1000. Are there any tricks to achieving the same thing with the MPC2000XL?

Since you posted this in the 2k forum, where 2k users dwell and aren't likely to own both a 1k and a 2k, we have lil' knowledge of the 1k and users here might not have any knowledge of the feature you're refering to. If you explain the feature a lil you'll probably get a definitive answer.

I think I remember hearing about a feature in the 1k that allows users to "bounce" their sequence or song to a stereo wav. file withinh the machine itself, is this what you're refering to? If so the answer is no, you can't do this with the 2kxl. The only way to get your song into the 2kxl in wav. format is to record it to another device and import it back into the 2kxl. Any song longer than 3 min and 10 sec. in 16/44 wouldn't fit in the 2kxl anyway.
