1. How can I make it to where two sounds play at the same time? i.e- I usually make most of my beats with a good dusty kick, and a thick 909 style kick under it (lower volume)...is there a way that I can make so that both notes play at the same time, velocity, etc? seems it would save me a lot of step editing time
2. Earlier I was making a beat with no quantization...it was a little strange, and I had trouble making the notes fit properly. The first bar was good, but I couldnt figure out (even with the manual) how to just copy the one bar to all 3 other bars (I was trying to program a 4 bar loop)
3. I've got a sequence i've been working on....its got about 10 tracks that arent meant to be played at the same time. Most of the song would be the main two or three tracks looping with the other tracks coming in and out. Would it be possible to record a song where i am muting and unmuting the tracks live, using the pads? Or should I just take the one sequence and make several copies, with the different tracks muted?
4. Time Stretching issue. I have a bass loop that is really long, something like 8 bars, 16 beats. I can't seem to get it to timestretch! Another loop i pulled from the same song is fine, but this one just doesnt seem to change! The bpm is somewhere around 69, and everytime I try and stretch it up to 75 it doesnt seem to change. Even when I go back to the <BPM> screen under time stretch, it still shows the tempo as 69 bpm. Help!
Thanks a lot, if anybody can answer any of these questions it would help me out tremendously.
