Cant fit any of my beats on a disk

Recently ive had this problem where when I get my sample and chop it into like 8 parts than i make a beat, but for like the last week or so when I go to save it it always says not enough room on disk, when Ive made beats the same way as this hundreds of times and thats never happened.

What kind of disk are you talking about here? Floppy? If so, floppies are crap for saving bro! I used to make a beat and Id have to save it on like 3 different floppies U should invest in a ZIP drive homeslice Hit up Ebay, youll find some ILL DEALS! I got my ZIP off Ebay for $12 and it came with 2 free disks...check it out If not, then just cop a grip of floppies...lemme know whats up...peace

Don't sample for such long length's. That's how you progress your chopping skills. Anyone can make a beat and chop a sample to make it fit, now you have to chop the samples to make em un-recognizable. Break it down, apply 16 levels, mute samples, 16 levels, filtering, everything. Now the fun begins.

Another thing you could do is erase the main chunk that you took the pieces from when you're done . That should give you a fair amount of room . I went through a period where I was anti-zip for a while because I thought it was making me lazy (I think having a SP1200 did that to me) . So I had to find mad ways to clear up my memory to fit everything on floppies . But yes , a zip is a HUGE benefit to have .
