Faster way to copy sounds from zip disks?

Is there a faster way to copy zip disks on the MPC 2000 XL? I usally load the .PGM from the disk I want to copy the sounds from, and than save each one PGM. Is that the quickest way to copy the whole disk?

Are you talking about duping a whole disc or just pulling some sounds from one and putting them on another disc? Either way, if you have a computer with a Zip, do it that way. WAY faster. If you meant something completely different, disregard this message....

Your question is confusing and not quite clear.

I'm talking about copying all the sounds off of one disk to another. I actually found out a quicker way to do it last night. Thanks guys.

Hey Rum, this thread is mad old, but would you mind sharing the faster way you found to copy sounds from one Zip disk to another?

I never tried this but you probably can use the PC to make a 1:1 copy of the whole disk via image file.
But make sure you switch on the write protection on the source disk.
