Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

lets say im using the breakbeat midi and drum files from a zip, then i also loaded in some samples from another zip. I saved all sequences and songs. Do I have to reload all of these elements every time that I want to work on this beat? Is the only way that I can load everything at the same time by saving everything in the same spot? Any suggestions about how to avoid this dilemma appreciated....

Thanks,

Ian

yes i load samples from floppies and different zips all the time, and take sequences back and forth from the pc on floppies, as long as you save everything you need for your 'song' the program and sequences on one disk in the end its allgood. i dont use .aps and .alls i just manually save program and sequence. i dont trust aps and alls, cause when you load one it is too easy to overwrite a sequence you have been working on that hasnt been saved yet.
