MPC2000XL-MCD.pdf Info

I'm sure its been posted before, but here is some info on it.
It also talks about using the MPC Editor to edit samples.

I peeped the new 2000xl MCD model at Guitar Center about two weeks ago.There seems to be nothing diffrent about it other than the drive which reads a few diffrent types of flash type media.If the drive works anything like the MPC 1000 model Guitar Center and Akai can go ufck themselves because the compact flash drive in the MPC 1000 is the most unreliable SOB I've ever seen.I had a few diffrent digital cameras that uses Compact FLash and after hundreds of ejects,insertions,and complete reformats I managed to use the same 2 cards for several years without a problem.Within a day of testing out the MPC 1000 I had several problems with the MPC not even recognizing that the card that was in the drive.I'm not saying that the MPC's that use Compact Flash media are all bad but BUYER BEWARE!!! Questions,concerns just check out all the post in the MPC 1000 forum in regards to the Compact Flash Cards.Oh and by the way they got the nerve to be selling the admn things for $1700.

Go back and hit Shift/Other/Ver and let us know what OS it was running. Or better yet, take a CF card with you and save the OS to it and email it to me.

$1700? You can buy two XL's on eBay for that price. For basically a card reader? I'm better off with ZIP's.

Don't know if anybody's seen this, but this place will put the new card reader in your MPC 2000 xl for $199, "no charge for return shipping".
