Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

well.....i had this sample....bangin and i filtered it but i wanted to filter it and have it coming out the left ear and one in the right so when i tried to pan it didn't work...does anyone have a way of getting thru this?....oh yeah i have 8 outs and the eb16 to help you answer this better!.....thanx in advance

hmmmm?

ok let me reword it.....the eb16 board seems to work with both l/r with no way to pan the sound....is there a way around this?

assign the sound to two pads, pan one hard left the other hard right and apply the other hard left.

ok guy...i know you don't have an eb16 board because your answer is wrong........when i use the filter....the sounds don't pan.......even the echo doesn't pan!

W'dup doe....

If you're reffering to the filter on the efx board, I think all the effects are stereo only and can't be panned left nor right.

thanx man.........that'z not cool at all........makes me kinda wanna sell that ish.....thanx i was wondering why i was racking my brain about it.....they need to make another os with that feature....... :(

yes sir....i have figured it out by myself.......all i had to do was turn the stereo sounds off because the stereo sounds were still in the center........this forum isn't as helpful as it use to be...thank you to jaemac21 and mddl fngr

Correction: All efx can be panned. Reverb can be panned alone, but the others are grouped (Mod/Echo pans together, as well as Dist/Eq)
