Looking for help. What program would best create sample cds. I'm using Windows XP full and the problem I'm having is everytime I make a Cd when I try loading it into my MPC the sample names have been chopped. When I put the CD back into my PC it shows the full sample name. And yes, I burn the samples in a folder. I'd rather be able to load my samples from my scsi cd rom rather than zip. less chance of corrupted data and it's faster loading.

XP is NTFS and MPC reads FAT32.....that's why the names get chopped....think of a easier way or a system to rename the samples...use mneumonics or #'s.....

the catch is I have a lot of samples/sounds and I want to keep the programs I already had before I learned about the eight charcter law. Oh well thanks for the input. I've even tried using my MPC editor and it to doesnt load all the samples. I already know it's going to chop the names to but why is it not loading the full pgm?
