Don't know if you can help...

I recently purchased Cubase SE and it's great except for one thing-I can't get the MIDI signals to show! I'm some what of a beginner, using GarageBand as my previous software and a G4 iBook with all of the fancy things inside. Now my problem is that I have an Akia MPC 1000 that I'm trying to hook up to Cubase, but I can't get the MIDI to route to Cubase. My interface is that M-Audio Uno cable (I also have a Behinger mixer that hooks up to my iMic) which I think is the problem. If anyone could help me in any way it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The 1000 is a different beast but I Do Know That Cubase While Powerful
.....................is at First a JOURNEY.................
Especially Commin from GARAGEBAND which is as Simple as Well ACID on (PC) But U Can Sort it OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Check UR Midi Preferences/Options in Cubase and make sure it is readin' Ur M-Audio Correctly.........

If So Check The MPC 1000 Manual 4 Midi Set Ups and Find out How 2 Communicate Between the 2 ....................
