mpc with the microkorg help!

watsup, ijust got a microkorg. how can i connect the microkorg into the mpc so i can record myself playing it into the mpc's sequencer in real time? is this done through midi? thanks

MPC Midi Out A> MicroKorg Midi In

ive tried this, but since midi doesnt send audio, only data, how do you hear what you recorded into the mpc? do you need to have the microkorg audio outs going somewhere too?

Yes, to a mixer.
So you can hear the MPC and the MicroKorg.

MicroKorg audio out > External mixer inputs or...
MicroKorg audio out > Soundcard line in

If the MicroKorg has a headphone output you can monitor through 'phones as well. If no headphone socket use correct cable to plug 'phones into MicroKorg main outputs.

I suggest you take the time to understand the concept of MIDI and read your MPC manual if you're not TOO BUSY!

clint i appreciate u helpin me, but i dont appreciate ur damn attitude u feel u need to give me, assuming ididnt take the time myself to read and understand literatures on the mpc, etc. how do u even know i have the manual? and yea man, matter of fact i am a lil busy being a fulltime student and all, but that dont even matter. if ur really this annoyed at answering my question, then dont **** answer it. aight? enough of this internet bullshit but im sick of people like u. peace
