saving beats

yo when i save a beat i make a new folder. if i have drums on a separate disk, do i have to save them again in the beat folder? there gotta be another way cos this way takes up like more space

Maybe organise your drums into kits? Just take a note of what kits where used per beat...... Or Make a folder that holds all your drums/samples
(That way aint bad if you use a HD)

Nb.When u re-save theres no need to replace same sounds
