Here's a fix for a note repeat note hang

I think I allready posted it somewere, but I can't find it.

If you are using the noterepeat often, you proberly have had the problem that a note keeps going without pressing a pad. (so only pressing the noterepeat, or doing nothing when the hold funktion is activated)

You can fix it this way:

- Let the MPC keep on playing

- release the hold funktion (well if you had used it offcourse)

- Go to bank B

- hold the noterepeat with your finger. (Not with the hold funktion!!!)

- play some of the upper pads quickly. (so not just one pad. It could take some seconds)

This will stop the notehang allmost all the time

When the note does not stop. You hear it all the time. Like CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC for example.

Normally you would only hear a sound if you hold the note repeat and then press a pad (or key on your synth). But when the note hangs, you only have to press the note repeat button.

Verry iritaing bug if you are a live jammer.

I often put the note repeat on a hold, so that I can use both hands to play on the pads, or have one hand free for other things. Live it's fun to trigger a sample on the fly and then it's not fun if the sound keeps on playing.

whats the deal, when im making like a 4 bar loop and ill have sounds that come close to the end of the fourth bar- these sounds get caught off as soon as the first bar starts....waz the deal? also waz the deal with my OPEN WINDOW button, it hasnt been workin as of late, only works when i give it that magic jonlock shocker touch, ahah

no problem, but you get more people watchin a new topic then this one.

on another tip, if u hold down the note repeat button and then hit the main menu button, auto noterepeat. So u can free up ur other hand to use the vari slider.

I allways use the shift button for that.

the shift button for what? im sorry i dont know what ur talkin bout. what i meant is that u just hit note repeat and main menu and then the note repeat stays on, so u dont have to hold down the note repeat button to have note repeat.
