When I push on one of the pads which has about a 2 sec piano sound and then i hit another pad which is a piano...the first one overlaps the other and makes it sound crappy....how do i make it cut off when i hit another pad...not that this is always a desirable effect......now i will go search for a post similar to this one....i think i have seen this one before....lol

If they are different samples... when you go to the assign screen, towards the bottom of the screen you can set different properties for the pads. You want to change it so that other pads can turn off the sample. There you can select one or two other pads that will cancel out the sound.

If you have more then 3 samples and want this behavior, its usually easier to just set the sample to Note Off in the params section so that the sample only plays as long as you have it pressed down.

Not to be a dick, but its kind of assey to brag about posting first and searching later. People put a lot of time into helping out other people on this board. I used to read it more but 95% of the qustions are reposts.
