MPC WONT RECORD MIDI RIght

Sup fellaz. Im using my keyboard with the mpc and im using the MPC as the sequencer 4 both. THings go well until i Try to record somethin from the keyboard and use the Ribbon to control the pitch. I hit record on the MPC and begin playing the Board with 1 hand controllin the ribbon, I hear the effect my ribbon nob has on the sound im playing, but when i go back and play the sequence back it plays the naked sound without my ribbon/pitch bend effect on it..

BUT.........when i play the sequence back i can put my hand on the ribbon it changes the sound while its playing though its not recoding

How can i record the ribbon action. Thanks Fellaz!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

unusual cause its working on mine.

ok look tru ya manual about midi signals. or maybe ya keyboard does not transmit pitch bends.

Hav u onli connected the midi out from the mpc to the midi in of the keybord. Cause to controll pitch from the keybord you also have to connect the midi out of the keybord to the midi in of the mpc. Hit me back if that has worked or if it didnt

soz man didnt mean controll the sound i ment record it

what synth are you using that's got a pitchbend ribbon? be sure to check that the keyboard is set to output midi controller info and not just note on/offs. make sure the MPC isn't set to filter out that info coming from the keyboard.
