mpc 2000 help hooking up

whats up? FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY ALL OF YOUR HELP IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED!!! I HAVE AN MPC 2000, FANTOM X6, CUBASE SX I WANT TO USE MY MPC AS A SEQUENCER TO CONTROL MY FANTOM X6. AND I WANT CUBASE TO BE THE MASTER AND CONTROL THE MPC. OR THE BEST WAY THAT YOU ALL THINK I SHOULD HOOK THEM ALL TOGETHER. CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW TO DO THAT HOW DO I GET MY MIDI FILES FROM THE MPC TO CUBASE. AND ALSO IM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY SOUND CARD I HAVE A TASCAM US-224 CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD ONE. just put the computer(cubase) in-out, out-in to the mpc this will occupied i midi connection in the back of the mpc, then put in-out- out-thur to your keyboard and rack into the mpc, its easy, the set master to cubase, prefernces, and slave in the 2000, i hope that helps.
