hey guyz,i just installed a 250meg zip into my 2000xl,and one in my pc.its taken me soooo long to get to this stage as ive been saving my cash.well ,it doesnt seem to recognise the drive.when i installed it,the new cable was a few pins too wide compared to the old floppy drive cable,so i presumed you plug it into the slot next to the old one on the board(which is wider) .i just fired it up ,but it sayes cant find floppy drive? does the mpc still think its a floppy ?or should it say zip now? i had no idea about any problems with 250 meg drives until i checked out this site ,i hope i can get it working or ive just wasted a lot of money . please help ! how do i get it to recognise the drive ? any help would be appreciated. cheerz.
