ide zip speed?

Hi.
I'm using an external scsi zip. But it would be easier to have an internal zip in live situations.
In the FAQ it says that an internal zip is slower than the scsi. How much? Is it half speed? -Thats ok, but if it's slower

There must be someone in this forum, that got both kind of zips.
Please help

IDE zips are a lot slower, I've never timed it but at least twice as long. But for live use, I think the internal option is superior as everything is contained within the unit.
