Mac's writing Wav's to compact fash!!

I have recently installed a compact flash reader into my MPC2000 xl. If i try to load samples from my Powermac G5 onto a compact flash card and then try to load them onto my MPC it keeps saying 'wrong wav type.' However they are standard 16bit 44.1 wav files. I have tried taking samples from my mates PC and this works fine, even using the same compact flash reader/writer and card. Also one other thing, when the samples come from my Mac it shows up on my MPC as two seperate files, and one of them shows as having a size of 0 K. Can anyone help me as it's so annoying?! Have Mac's got some type of preferance I need to switch off?

I think I know what the problem is. When you save your .wav's on the
mac it names them as lowercase " .wav " right? The MPC doesnt' like that,
so rename them with " .WAV " as an extension and they should load right
up.

Bruv I can't BIG you up enough!!!! Thats been pissin me off for time, I've had to use a cd drive and waste loads of cds etc etc. Your BIG, I can't thankyou enough......!!!!

No problem! Another small piece of helpful info, that 2nd file you see
(the one that's zero K) is ignorable. The Mac creates that for some
PC/MAC exchange reason, but it won't effect your disk or anything,
it's just there. I've deleted them before with no repurcussions but
mostly I just ignore them since they're not taking up any room. . .
