motif with mpc ??midi or audio?

well would i be better off recording my motif in to the mpc threw aux or threw midi and aux? whats teh diffrence why would midi jump in to the picture ? or would i just go about a sequence by ,sequencing my drum loop and then press record and play my melody from the motif threw audio?

Anyway BRUDDAH! LISTEN!

I'm assuming you are using the MOTIF KEYBOARD so plug the OUT from the MOTIF into IN of the MPC then OUT the MPC the MOTIF.

This way you play the melody on the keyboard..the MPC records the midi data signal provding you know how to record. (make sure your midi channels are set up right)
Now when you play back on the MPC, the MPC will play back the sounds on the MOTIF.
When it comes to audio it comes out the MOTIF cause thats where the sounds are located.

i dont want to use the motif for nothing but its presets
just like my soft synths and vst i run the output from my delta1010lt to the input on a mixer mixer to the mpc so i can use my vsti's and soundfonts in a sequence with the mpc

all i wanna do is use the motif for its presets
so im str8 with just the motif out to the mpc in?

Use the MO for everything it has. My opinion if you use it for just its presets you probably could have found a cheaper board for that use. So something about the MO made you get it. I know alot of cats who would love to have one. I have the MO6 Classic love the hell out of it. It's like my wifey but when it talks back i can listen.
