Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Whyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!:? Here is the problem: I have some sounds saved to a 3 and 1/2 floppy. I format the zip disk using the mpc, then when I stick the disk into the pc (which is running XP Pro formatted with NTFS), the pc reads: disk not formatted. So, I format the disk (using FAT32) on the pc, then copy the sounds over. However, when I load the disk back into the mpc, non of the sounds or programs or anything show up. Then, if I format the disk on the MPC when I stick it back into the pc, it reads: "disk not formatted" again. Any ideas? Anyone? Please...

the PC can't read MPC formated disc. Format it on the PC and then save the sounds to the disc from the MPC.

Format disks on PC w/ fat16.
MPC and PC can read that disk if you do it this way.

Keep your filenames/samples at 8 characters max.
