im afraid...i think my mp needs repairs

i am depressed...
i just got my mp 2000xl bout a month ago...and i think it needs to be fixed. Lights are coming on and not turning off, and the pads aren't working.

I am just wondering if anybody out there has trusted someone else with their mp. it seems like its...disturbing...

The problem may have something to do with it missing a C. This can be a very annoying problem. Can you please tell us what the text reads above the rec gain and main volume knobs?

i call my mpc an "mp" for short...the "c" is too much to say at one time (yeah, im lazy with speech. i talk with the beats)

as far as you synagodz...i did evrything on my old post a million times...

and infinicash...the cable is connected. I'm throwing up my hands now. Ima let the pros handle it. im not gonna open it up again for fear of fking up something.

yep i had a similar problem. the lights would stay on but my screen would stay blank an then ask for the mpc2000xl loading disk!! i found out dat the problem was i had the internal zipp drive put in ( having an external is better ) which after 3 years an not having a problem it decided to pack up on me which effected my mpc. did cost me quit a bit.
