Mpc 2000 midi connection to Novation bass station synth

I've got a second hand Novation bass station synth and want to conect it to my mpc 2000, but I have no manual
The mpc 2000 is the master, so how do i get this in sync? If you have experience in this, then I'd be really grateful for some advice or tips! Thanks Mark
