I NEED HELP WITH sync'ing PRO LOGIC PALTINUM..

I have it sync'ed so that when I hit the transport keys on the MPC, Logic will start/stop etc etc. Here are the two main problems I'm having..

1. The tempo keeps jumping every few milliseconds inside Logic by maybe 1-.5 bpm.. is that tight enough to be recording? Or should it be stable and COMPLETELY sync'ed?

2. When I do playback with Logic, it misses maybe about 1-4 ms of the first bar right when it starts playback .. this ends up cutting off some sound.

I have my MPC set at the following:

Sync IN (In:1)
Mode: Off
Receive MMC: ON

Sync OUT (Out:A)
Mode: Midi Clock
Receive: ON
THERE MUST BE ONE PERSON IN HERE THAT CAN HELP ME!!!!!!!!

I'm not a Logic user really....but maybe this helps some. It should really be completely synced if you want to record multiple tracks.

You're using the mpc as the master, so it would make sense to set it to send MMC to Logic as well. Make sure you set the tempo (bpm) in Logic to the same as your mpc. It will lock to midi-clock, but i don't think it will update the bpm as well.

The reason it cuts the first moment when you press play (or record) is because it takes a moment before the mpc (or logic) catches the sync signal. This is normal, and pretty much everybody has this problem.
The solution is to leave a few empty bars in front of your song. I always insert 2 empty bars.

or make logic the master. as the mpc has rock solid timing and should bang straigh into action.
