What software do ypu dump your samples in to clean and fine tune them,, add effects to etc?

I didn't see any difference between Sound Forge and Acid Pro 4 , except for a the colums colors ( green vs red )... and some multitrack access.

Both are Sony tm.

I feel they sound the same, same plug-ins, same rendering.

Am I wrong? maybe.

if there a difference, on which points... and I would be like "whaaa" if you could give me the differences between those and Cool Edit, like "Whuuuuu" if you could give me the difference between those and Steinberg Cubase sx, and like "WHA-UH-UH-UH-UH' " if you could give me the differences between them and Digidesign Protools.
