Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

For some stupid reason my ZIP250 is giving me shit about reading 250MB disks.

Yesterday I reformatted a 250 thinking the data was corrupt because the load times were excruciatingly slow (usually resulting in a *disk read error*) and I was unable to access partitions past B. I thought, 'Oh well, I lose the work but I least I can start over on this disk.' Immediately after that I tried saving and loading a program with the same disk and I still had problems. I threw the disk away thinking it was trash. This was after I tried loading stuff from older 100 disks with no problems.

Then, today I tried with a fresh new 250 disk and got the same loading problems. I then came to the realization that the disk I reformatted wasn't trash, it's just my drive doesn't want to read 250 disks properly. I lost a dozen projects on that reformatted disk for nothing and I'm pissed.

Uh, so...
