OK, first of all ---I have read the manual, and have it right here next to me while I type this.

Im effing clueless on the EB16 and getting the FX to work. I have a mpc2KXL, 8 outs, 32 MB memory, and the FX card. I have 6 of my 8 outs going into a DPS12's 6 inputs (I rarely use more than 6 tracks), but I dont have my stereo outs going out to anything.

I have tried a few times to follow the manual's instruction on applying FX with no luck. Either my monitors suck (M-Audio Studiophile BX5s), or my ears suck, or I did it wrong. I simply cant hear any FX on the tracks leaving my MPC and playing through the DPS12. I tried applying EQ/filter and also reverb, and I dunno. Perhaps I'm a pothead, or perhaps my EB-16 is faulty. I'd like to rule out A before I conclude B.

Any ideas?

By default the FX are routed through the stereo outs if I'm not mistaken (I don't have my MPC here with me :-)). Sou you will either have to connect your stereo outs our rerout the FX

you'll need to bus your fx output to one of the indiv outputs. press open window on mixm in the multifx page. in there you can change it.

Nanoloop is correct. You have to modify the effect (M1,M2,etc) properties and choose a channel (stereo, so 1/2 - 3/4 - 5/6 - 7/8 ) to route the effects to. All FX's uses the same route.

FWIW it's like that on the s3000xl and s2000 too
