Does the MPC 2000 Support Iomega 100mb Parallel zip drive?

Nay I say.
The parallel connector is different than the SCSI connector. As far as the data transfer rate, the SCSI is a hell of a lot faster than parallel. Also you can't use parallel on the MPC. It's a SCSI DB25 for the 2K I do believe and a centronics for the 2KXL..

Aww Ight, good looking. Reason why I ask is because I found a Parallel for $15 beans off Ebay and needed it anyway for my CPU on storing some graphics, so I was just wondering cuz I need to copp a SCSI for my 2000 and thought maybe it would have worked.

Be very careful about what you connect to your MPC. The parallel drive may mess with your MPC's SCSI fuse. Make sure you use a SCSI Zip drive.

Shalom,

Good looking yall. I went ahead and got my 25pin SCSI for my 2000, so it's all good.

That Parallel is on my other CPU for graphics. But good looking fam.
