What's the easiest way to sample off of vinyl?

Hey, I have two turntables with a Gemini mixer.....I was wondering what was the best way to sample using my set up. Should I connect straight to the mixer itself?

mixer should have a rec out or tape out or booth out, basically a set of outputs other than the main outs. connect the tape outs to the inputs on the mpc.
