Zoning ...

After slicing up the sample into different zones, how do you pick out the zones you want to use, get rid of the excess bits you don't need and restore the program back to the previous recording of a beat or sequence ?

Everytime I try to Zone , I get stuck in zone mode and all the pads fill up with the disected sample and I can't get back to it's original recording or program.

Can someone help me ?

WEN YOU IN THE ZONE WINDOW, AND PRESS EDIT ,IT SAYS SOMTHING LIKE MAKE A NEW PROGRAM (YES) OR (NO).
IF YOU SAY (YES) IT MAKES A NEW PROGRAM, MEANING YOUR STUCK IN A NEW PROGRAM...
I ALWAYS SAY (NO)AND CHOOS THE SAMPLES I WANNA USE AND ASIGN EM TO THE PADS I WANT (IN PROGRAM1)

Hey thanks alot homie, every little bit helps... it would be nice to get to the level that RJD2 is at.

The way he works that MPC...man .... it would probably take me years to get to that point.
