i'm having some problems. I have a Korg MS2000 and i want to sync it with the MPC. How would i set it up so that i can record midi notes into the mpc then have the mpc play them back into the keyboard? I know this is possible and i'm sure its very easy to do. I'm about as ignorant as they come when midi is involved. I've tried searching for the past couple of days and still no luck. I normally never post my problems because i always find solutions with the search feature. But this is the last resort. If anyone has helpful info it would be greatly appreciated. btw, the MS2000 is a synthesizer. i want to use it like those old standalone automated pianos that read the feeded sheet music...know what i mean, keys move up and down but no one is playing it. same idea..but have it synced with the mpc.
Like i said, i've seen the tutorial videos and im still stuck. there must be some tiny error that im making. this is what i got goin on:
MS2000 midi in > MPC midi out
MPC midi in > MS2000 midi out
how would i set up the midi sync on the MPC? Also, i have a feature on the keyboard where i can choose midi clock internal, external or auto.
Don't hate me for asking this question, i just ain't az smart az the rest of ya.
peace
