Zip Drive Will Not Format!

I took everyone advice about not going back to the floppy drive since my MPC came with the Zip Drive. Now the zip drive has failed. It will not format. I can't even format the disk with the new zip drive I just bought for my PC. So I think I am just going to take back the MPC and give up.
If anyone knows why this may have happened please help me out before I take this back tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

That's not the drive - it's just the disk - dont take your MPC back just because a £5 disk doesn't work! Disks can fail easily - buy a brand new disk and enjoy.
