Nah dog, I'm good, but thanks for the support though. I already got years of samples on DVDs and CD's. I could start my own sample selling business and then get sued most likely, haha.

Can't get it to do anything? Meaning you don't hear the samples being affected by the filter? Either it's wired wrong or you just didn't push the right buttons on the MFC. I think I remember engaging the 8 pole disables the 4pole/2pole.

As for recording tweaks over midi; I'm pretty sure it's in the manual. If all the wires are hooked up right, all you need to do is set the midi channel on both devices. Use the midi monitor pages on the MPC to see what's happening on the midi ports. You can just have the MPC's input recieve 'omni' if you don't have other midi devices in the chain. If not; choose a channel. As for midi from the MPC to the MFC, send and recieve on the same channel (duh)..

... iam just wonder how each indvidual channel can have its own filter settings... the way i have it setup... it filters the whole beat....lets i different filter settings for the hihat, the kick, and the snare... while the other elements of the beat(sample, bass)... remain natural...

i have 8outs... never used it before... i don't have a mixer... everything goes straight to my personal computer.

u can have 2 mono or 1 stereo. say one filters and lfo on bass and the other mono filters on the drums or whatever. yes very limited but if only u could resample on the mpc going through it...

That's right, but homes doesn't have a mixer. So he could only filter the whole beat or nothing at all. Since he already has the 8 outs I'd recommend getting a small analog mixer (mackie, spirit) - then you could just strap the MFC over 2 of the MPC's seperate outs, and route anything you want to filter to those outputs.

Where did you guys get the MFC? I check all the online retailers and they seem to be out of stock.

I got it from samedaymusic.com for $220 + $5 shipping. I think zzounds.com had it for $220 free shipping.

All they are showing is the rack mounts, not the actual unit. Thanks though.
