Dropped the MPC, the SCSI port is pushed in on one side..

How can I fix this?

Basicly what happened is the screw that holds the SCSI port in place, on ons side was litereally pushed into the MPC...

I removed the bottom, (had to remve the SMPTE card as well) to get to the screw but I can't do anything with it...It would be a simple fix, just get the screw out and put a new one in but the screw is shot....I stripped the crap out of it trying to get it out and now I don't knwo what to do.

Any ideas?

I don't want to go pay some electrician $75-$100 to remove a screw.

Take the smallest bit you can find and drill the screw out.If at all possible.

No way!!! drilling it would introduce all sorts of small metal bits into your mpc that can short shit and cause bigger problems.

Does it work? if you can connect your scsi cable and screw in one side, I would leave it alone, but if not, pliers might help, or that thing bob vill sells that will take out any stripped screw, I think sears sells it, it's a bit for your drill.

damn that sucks

Just tape up the back to stop the shavings and after you're done use one of those air things(like the one you use to clean keyboards) and blow it out.
