Zip Disk Issue!!!

"read disk error" message.
basically the zip drive keepts clicking to try to open the files on the zip disk, and isn;t able to open the zip period. is there a way to remedy the issue? in the past I was able to get the disk to work by putting it through Norton's anti virus. just checking if this is a common occurance with people cause it's happened to me a couple of times, and if anyone has any suggestions on remedies for it.

also, question for anyone who uses a external mpc scsi harddrive, how do you like it?

Look up `click of death` on any web earch engine. Will will find thousands of pages concerning this common issue.

The disk and drive are probably dead.

Might wanna try a new disk b4 you trash your drive...

naw, mpc is right, it's trashed 3 of my disks so far.
