MPC2000 Power switch screeching

my MPC is making a screeching noise thats coming from within (not through speakers) just from the circuits and shit. anyone ever had this happen??

Are you using it in a really cold or hot room?

no, its a normal temp room in my apartment.

It MIGHT be related to the backlight....a lot of times this can be the cause of a lot of screeching, especially if it's really high pitched and pretty continuous in pitch. Can't remember the component, but I guarantee mpc3000 knows.....dude's like a genius. If I had to guess, I think it's the inverter that normally does that, but I'm no electronics master or anything, so could be way off...
