flash card reader for mpc 2000xl

hi there

I'm tryin' to find an internal flash cardreader to put into an mpc 2000xl
they seem pretty hard to find nowadays because it has to be IDE or ATA and there al usb.
does anybody know a site or shop where I can find a working model?
preferbly holland or close by in europe...
It will do the gigs i do with that machine a lot more reliable !

followed P3tr's advice and I have that same CF reader in my 2kxl now, it
works just fine. v1.14 in mpc, 512mb Cf card.

I got mine on ebay, just be patient they come and go.

There also a link in either Sanders thread or pt3rs thread that had a link to a site with one.

lol, what are you talking about homie?

we all pointed him in the right direction. I told him I got mine off ebay, and give him the names of people who posted other information.....like I said every thing is right here in this forum, a simple search will find all of this.

I got mine from http://www.synchrotech.com/products/card-rw_32.html too. Install was easy as s**t and it works much better than zips.

I forgot to mention; don't worry about finding an internal SCSI card reader for the XL, the ATAPI/IDE readers are actually a little faster than the SCSI ones.

I looked through what was on the forum fairly well but didn't see your link or any other adress...

Hey Attitude, I mean, T, I was the one to direct him to the info in my sig link. It's THERE. The same stuff that everyone said is IN THERE. Have you even looked before you start ranting dude. I even followed the advice in there and I got it done w/ my 2kxl.

do these flashcard readers work flawlessly?, unlike zips which can become corrupt and hard to back up....are they like hardrives?im looking for a permanent way to save my stuff to ensure i wont ever lose what im doing...zips have been killing me for years...

Can you hot swap the media cards without re-starting?
