DRUM automatically changing

I occasionally have this problem when using song mode. the problem is when the sequence changes from lets say SEQ 1 to SEQ 2 the DRUM changes automatically..what i usually do is construct my whole beat on one sequence..then i copy that sequence mulitple times (seq 1 to seq 2 etc..) in order to mute out what i dont want..but i get this problem where it changes up on me, so DRUM 1 which has my drums turn into DRUM 2 which have my samples and loops...if anyone can understand all the giberish that im tryin to explainl... and has a solution please help me out... i got a beat i want to record but i cant.. cuz i have it all on one sequence.. and i cant break it down in song mode....thanks in advance...peace

if you make anymore changes to the sequences besides just muting and unmuting..... for example if your messing around with adding, deleting tracks etc. on the different sequences and you end up having different programs on different tracks in all your sequences, this will play havoc in song mode, because song mode does not change programs for tracks when it's changing sequences. It will just go with what is set four first sequence.

so in the following examples you have each track set with a different program. They are all over the place because sometimes that happens....just make sure that in all the sequences the the tracks and programs are the same for each....if you make any additions in certain seqiences...just move to the next track or overdub on a tracks that is already using the program with the sound you want to use.

track 1 - program 1
track 2 - program 2
track 3 - program 2
track 4 - program 3
track 5 - program 1
track 6 - program 4

Basically keep the same program for the same track throughout all your sequences. That should solve your problem.

thanks for the quick reply...i actually copied the entire sequence so yes, the tracks and programs are all identical in all sequences...i also double checked..any other ideas??? thanks again
