560 seconds sample time??? (mems related)

Hi folks
Been using the mpc2000 for a minute (since 97) and I just saw some ads for memory that would give one something like 500 seconds of stereo sampling time. I'm pretty sure I have the 2 16mb mems in mine and the memory I saw were two 16mb mems. I'm confused.
My question is:
Is there a way to get more than 180 seconds of stereo time in the 2k? Are the dudes that posted that ad just confused? Becasue now I am.

Don't be fooled, check your sample time w/ the 32mb you have.
multiply 2x to get max mono sampling time. That's ALL you get.
