choppin' on the 2000xl

how do you set a sample onto all pads?

This should be in the newbie section man. Chop it up, then go into the program screen and assign each 'chop' to a pad. Voila!

press 16 levels, then select the sound you want.

if its anything like the 2000, you gotta go into TRIM mode and zone edit. select your start and end points, then save the selection. then you can assign them to pads in PROGRAM mode

Well, his original post was confusing, but now he got the answers to both... whichever one he actually wants to do.
