Mpc-Tudor is this possible?
I want to sample my bass in to MPC, but with the click on. So I can nail the tempo, If not is there a workaround?

Not with the MPC - best work around without a multi tracker is to record the click track to cassette, minidisk, etc.

Then plug your bass into the left hand Rec in on the MPC and plug your click track (tape player etc) into the right hand input. You'll then have two completely separate sound sources rcorded as a single stereo sample. You can then analyse your recording with the benefit of the click track still there, find the best bits and then extract the left hand side for the pure bass sound.

...just remember that both cassette and minidisc varies in speed so don´t pull your hair off if it doesn´t sync to tempo 100%.

BUT WOULDNT A MINI DISC GIVE YOU A EXACT COPY OF THE TEMPO

no, unless you´re recording digital to minidisc it´s not synced and therefore the tempo is not 100%. I guess minidisc is better than cassette but I´ve had problems with this myself so I know.
