make a track using a floppy disk and scsi simultaneously

I wanted to know if it were possible to do a track using sounds from a floppy disk and also use zip disk drums from a scsi at the same time. Also I asked earlier how to retrieve sounds from a beat cd and transfer them to the mpc. I just need to know the way to do these things step by step, for I am new to this. No offense to the seasoned mpc users. One more thing. Can anyone tell me a good place to get quality sounds for thre mpc. I have two drum kits to my name. I have been makin em work but I know I need more. Help!Thanks

I'll answer your first question. The answer is: yes it is possible. But, first you really have to know how the MPC works. The MPC loads sound from media into memory and it works with these sounds while they are in memory. You can load these sounds into memory from any type of media... ie: hard drive, zip drive, CD, floppy.

Now you have to consider saving these sounds. When doing this, I would highly recommend saving to the same media.... even if you get the sounds from different media. This makes things alot easier.

It sounds like you are relatively new to this. My personal suggestion to you would be to just get your hands dirty and play around with the MPC.. Honestly, that is the only way that you will really learn. I got mine 6+ years ago and I was on it day and night until I finally got the hang of how it worked.
