SYSEX FILES

I looked in the manual but can't see anything about this....

Can you export MIDI sysex files from an MPC to a synth?

My scenario goes like this:

Laptop w/card reader....MPC2000xl w/card reader....Yamaha DX200

There are thousands of sysex patches for the Yamaha DX200, and I would

like to avoid having to buy a midi box for my computer.

I just can't picture it, but I know this is possible.

If you can save sysex data as a midi file then I guess you can read it on the mpc and send it to your synth via the MPC.

yeah it works....open the step eidt window to see your sysex data...

not sure if every instrument is compatible as i only know a little about sysex...
