4 beat tick in song mode

Is there a way to get a four beat tick in song mode before a song starts? I want to start the metronome for four beats before a song starts (not in sequence mode, but song mode only). Thanks!

EDIT: Okay, I know how to do the click. But I want Pro Tools to play the click when it is synched with the 2000XL. For some reasons, it only plays the click when I press play on the 2000XL and not on Pro Tools. When I press play on Pro Tools, it just plays the song without the click on the MPC.

perhaps i am being over simplistic.. but couldn't you add an extra four bar empty loop to the begining of your song and then four bars to your song in protools?

i hear what you are sayig; however, the mpc does not do that. the count-in is only for record mode.

Yes ... it sounds like you should add an extra bar to the MPC song & also use an extra track on either the MPC or ProTools to give a tick.
