basically why "try 2 choose/load" if you dont really want to.
maybe its freezing cause your trying to access something thats not connected. that makes sense to me even though it should say "SCSI not ready"
the proper way to load something...
try turning the mpc on first, leaving it on for a couple of minutes then tuning on your scsi drive. wait about 30 seconds then load.
before that make sure everything is connected properly, terminated and shyt.
